My Story

My name is Garrett Hemmerich, a passionate writer born and raised in Northern New Jersey with a background in film and video production. In addition to holding a BA in Media Arts with a concentration in Film, I wrote for a film & video production company for six years. My original short films have been selected to some major film festivals and I was recently a finalist in the Screencraft Drama Screenplay Contest.

 

I’ve worked on feature film sets as well as numerous corporate & commercial shoots in addition to several productions for the television channel TV Asia, including a dating and cooking show.

I have as much a taste for genre fare as art films and when I'm not tapping the keys on my keyboard you can find me enjoying a great movie or show, nose deep in a good book, or rooting for the NY Jets.
